The NHL fined Montreal defenseman PK Subban $2,500 for a "dangerous trip" of Penguins left wing Chris Kunitz during Friday's game at Consol Energy Center. Subban used his left foot to kick out Kunitz's skates from behind, causing him to fall feet-first into the boards behind Montreal's net.
